PM Separations is pleased to introduce two new additions to the MMQCI quality control portfolio, designed to support accuracy, efficiency, and confidence in molecular testing workflows.

Xpert BCR-ABL IS p210 Panel C206

We are excited to announce the launch of the new MMQCI Xpert BCR-ABL IS p210 Panel C206, an optimized solution for performance assessment of the Xpert BCR-ABL Ultra assay on Cepheid GeneXpert systems.

Developed as an enhanced version of the C130 panel, the C206 maintains the same rigorous performance standards while offering improved efficiency and resource optimisation for modern laboratories.

  • Minimise Waste
Includes only three essential levels (0%, 0.01%, and 1% IS), reducing unused material
  • Cost Savings
Provides material for up to four rounds of quality control, helping to lower overall expenditure
  • Streamlined Workflows
Ideal for monthly or frequent QC testing, supporting efficient laboratory operations

0% Oncology Controls

Also now available are the new MMQCI 0% Oncology Controls, providing a critical baseline for molecular oncology assays.

In highly sensitive testing environments, establishing a true negative control is essential. These 0% controls support laboratories by:

  • Verifying specificity – ensuring no false positives are detected
  • Monitoring assay performance – identifying drift or unexpected signals
  • Setting reliable thresholds – defining true positive results with confidence

These controls complement MMQCI’s established range for hematologic malignancies, including BCR-ABL, PML-RARA, and NPM1, creating a comprehensive solution for molecular oncology quality assurance.

As molecular oncology testing continues to evolve, the need for reliable and efficient quality control solutions becomes increasingly important.

These new products from MMQCI enable laboratories to maintain high standards of performance while optimising workflows and resources.

PM Separations is proud to support laboratories across Australia and New Zealand with high-quality analytical solutions that contribute to accurate, reproducible, and clinically meaningful results.
